you should know that in chinese character, 象(xiang)means element or character, as well as elephant.

I have heard of Elephant style before. It's not a common style and was developed specifically to defeat another style.

        I can't remember which one.

Much like turtle style was enveloped specifically to combat chicken style.

Elephant uses a lot of back fist type attacks. As well as odd angles.

There is not much about it around anymore from what I can tell. It was more of a folk style.

Unfortunately no. I used to have a documentary, where the Chinese government went around in the 60's or 70's and filmed all the styles they could find.

While Elephant was on their list, they could never find anyone who could demonstrate it.

Sorry, the copy I had grew legs a couple years back and all I remember is that it was done by the "Something something Martial Arts Preservastion Association"

Some one had pirated a copy for me.

Elephant was supposedly a forerunner of Eagle Claw from Yueh Fei. Supposedly... much like his credit for creating Xingyi too...

CLF has an Elephant form, there are elephant techniques in Hung Fut, but I've never come across an Elephant style.

That's the Hung Sing CLF Elephant set (Mon Jeurng) created by Lau Bun .

He might know it, but from the pics, he doesn't "know it".
