Because you'll never realize what Kali Silat is all about unless you train in the country of origin. The difference is the experience you get with people that grew up doing Kali Silat, not as a hobby, but as a way of life.
There is noting like it, and not everyone can do it. I remember 3 guys falling out from the exhaustion in the first 2 days. You'll need the courage and dedication to make the trip, the next one is scheduled for April 1st to April 14th, 2006. I'll be bringing the third group of guys to Cebu, and we'll train the hard way, morning, noon and night if you can stand it.
