I recently had a seminar announcement removed from a discussion forum due to the hosts connection with another style of eskrima and his instructors need to control information about other styles that are available in the UK.

So here goes on this one!:

29th of April 2001 sees Richard Cotterill teaching an introduction to Balintawak in Newcastle upon Tyne. The course starts at 12 noon and lasts until 4pm. The cost is £25 in advance and £30 at the door.

I did NOT remove your advert for the reasons you state. As I told you in my email to you - I removed your advert because the advertisement part of my forum is for the use of people who contribute to the forum. I'm sure it is ok here to just pop in and use the forum for your own business interests without trying to keep the forum alive by actually joining in - but that is not acceptable on mine.

For the record: I have every respect for Balintawak Eskrima. I have trained in it and was VERY impressed with its directness & effectiveness.

There are NO other reasons for my action, despite what your politically charged brain may be telling you. Nobody tells me what I can and cannot promote on my forum, just like nobody will dictate who or what I will train in.
