I can believe it. The blade is a big part of the Filipino culture. If I were to believe that someone saw two skilled men going at it for real with blades, it would be there. I wouldn't believe it if you said it happened any other place though. Anything is possible though however improbable.

I've heard of terrorists, kidnappings, assasinations, gunfights, among other things in the less savory parts of the Phillippines. For some reason, a simple knifefight doesn't sound like a big deal.
