each master or fighter has his own way of fighting. but they do not always share what it is they do that makes it work. and this is what we protect. you can fight me, and try to guess what happened, but the opponent never really knows what the exact strategy is, or what method he used to get there. some people share some people reveal. just like you cannot watch a video to figure out what is going on deep underneth, the secrets are what you cannot teach yourself, by watching. this is why you cannot learn well by video. the teacher will not show or explain it well, you have to do it in person.
