  • FMA in the UK

I am new to the forum, so I hope I am not going over something already posted. I have recently moved to the UK, Liverpool to be exact and am looking for students to train with in the area. Not many schools are listed on the net here so i was hoping someone knows someone etc. I have a Modern Arnis background with some Balintawak training, but am willing to work with what is available.
    Thanks

    Balintawak

    Hi Mack,

The main Balintawak instructor in the UK is Richard Cotterill in Nottingham. Let me know if you can travel and I'll drop you his contact details.

As for Modern Arnis, the only person I know who had contact with David Hoffman when he was living in the UK was Keith Gilliland, Coventry/Birmingham way. Again let me know if you can travel and I'll put you in contact.

      Forgot

      Hi Mack,

I forgot Melvin Corrigan. He's in Wigan which is not far from Liverpool. I'm not sure what style he teaches, but he does teach the FMA (possibly Inosanto/Lacoste blend).

      As before, contact for details.

If you can make it up the East Lancs Road (A580) you may be interested in training under a certified representative of Dan Inosanto - www.maxt.co.uk

hey! where bout in Liverpool are you teaching in? I am in need of a new school. . Currently kickboxing but I dont like the club I am in. On the look out for a new club to go to.

Hope ya like liverpool. People usually friendly except some. I think the main problem with people is that they think they are hard when really they arent, but they know hard people.

                Anyways.
