Making a Knife

In the movie "The Hunted", Benico Del Toro made a knife from scratch, from a piece of metal found in the woods.

This may sound corny (and I apologize if it does), but I was wondering, do any of you have instructions (preferably online) on how to make a knife? And if you do, could you send me the link?

Like I don't want to make a perfect folder knife, just a knife I can easily and quickly make from scratch, similar to the movie.
