    Knife Training in Fayetteville, NC...

Listen, the guy ask for instruction in knife training and what would be the best. Arnis, Kali, Escrima/Eskrima, Silat etc... martial arts, are the best. I am not saying that anyone else don't have things to offer...there are a lot of good programs out there, but the base comes from the these type of arts. I will be in Fayetteville later part of July, and if you want to train send me an email.
As well, P. Greg Alland is an awesome teacher, I have been training with him on and off for 20 years. He lives in Va. Beach, Va. look him up at www.kali-silat.com, and there are others in your area. Dicky Harrell use to teach in Charlotte, NC, not sure if he does any longer but look him up in the phone book. I know others on Raleigh/Durham area as well, and Fort Bragg, too...so good luck and stay training... Eddie

Systems to look for: Pikiti Tirsa, Insanto, the best blade art is Kalis Ilustrisimo!!! However, Lameco Eskrima offers a lot and gets a lot of its' knife from Ilustrisimo... but I have found that learning anything you can, and making it work for you, is the best.
As well I do agree with many of the post about Sayoc etc...but I have never trained with it or anyone from that system, mostly they are all good, but stick with the Kali, Silat etc...

I have trained In TKD for ten years, and I am tired of the sport I want something pure.
      Dear Smith Adams,

Have you found an instructor yet? if not can you tell me something, why is it you want to train in knife and what is it that your looking to gain from the experience?

The reason i am asking this is so that i can better judge who i can refer you to for training in your area. i have a student of mine down there i believe. He trained knife tactics not only with me but a number of the best and same instructors i have.

if not him based on your needs then he would know who to send you too depending on the reasons you want to train in knife.

      Ms. J bows deeply...

        Lawson,

What`s up Bro.? It`s been awhile since iv`e seen you around. I`ve wanted to contact you for awhile now but its been kind of busy as of late. I see that you`re in Yuma now are you assigned to the HALO Committee? Yuma is only a few hours away from L.A. by car, it would be great to have you down one week-end just to catch up on things. Either way get in touch with me, my e-mail hasn`t changed: KaliDave@aol.com. I hope to hear from you soon Bro. Ciao.

        Guro Dave Gould.
