Need training partners

I am seeking anyone trainining in Filipino martial arts to train with in the Des Moines, IA area. I have had no luck locating anyone so far. I hav been out of practice for two years and am eager to return to the arts.

There is a gentelman named Darren Bogner in Iowa, he will be a little drive from you but he teaches Archipelago Combatives which is a hardcore stick, knife, and empty-hand system combining the best of various styles, systems, and methodologies. Darren is good guy and a good instructor. If you decide to check him out please tell him that I sent you.

Arnis in DesMoines

Hey Spider,

I grew up in DesMoines (my family moved from the Philippines to DesMoines when I was like 2 years old). I was just back to visit my brother and sisters who still live there. I had the chance to train with an old family friend named Bobby Barongan. He is Filipino and has a Kenpo school on SW 9th. I'm not sure how much of his stick and knife work is FMA and how much is Kenpo, but he is a really nice guy and is very open. If you can't find his school, he is also security guard at Target in SouthRidge mall.
