I'm partial to the Kershaw automatic knives like the Chive and the scallion. I like to be able to draw and deploy the blade easily and quickly and they are easy to conceal in my closed fist.

When I go running it is always in my hand.

      Great stuff

      Guro Dave -

Thanks a million. Those are some things I hadn't thought through yet. I appreciate your willingness to share your expertise with me.

      With respect,

I personally carry a kershaw spring assisted folder. It is a legal blade where I live. it is virtually a switch blade, but not classified as such. I also keep rattan and lightweight electrical piping in my vehicle and around my home. I have a 4 "D" battery mag light in my center console. I would love to own one of the many high quality knives that are out there, but I am not as financially fortunate as I would like to be.

No weapon made is as effective as beating a guy with his own dog. I mean POW!!!! right in the face with a jack russell terrier.
Or, you could just pee all over yourself. No one wants to touch a guy covered in his own urine. Not even to hit him.

By the way, I get the impression that Guro Dave Gould is Hardcore and WILL KILL YOU!!!! I could be wrong.
