Hi brother or sister sweet facade(I'm sorry I am not sure about your gender, male or female ?), but anyway, just to let you know that I am also a martial arts practitioner in the form of Lao-Lan,
since the year '70's, and you mentioned about fiber glass arnis stick....you may use them too but I think it seems to curve in the longer use but usable, just find the correct lenght for you, the correct weight or balance for you and it should not be slippery in the moment that you are using or practicing with it and as I always say in my answer....as long as it would be comfortable for you to use any time....I know it because I have both kind of arnis stick and fiber glass in my collections.
