Have you noticied any linguistic similarities between austronesian peoples including the various malay groups? I'm also curious if you've done anywork studying and documenting the various healing arts of austronesian origin.

collectively clubs are known as newa or patu onewa. They are "usually" patu or mere sometimes called kotiate. awesome, too bad you didnt get a chance to exchange notes with him eh?

Yup, really nice guy. Looking over my post I see I forgot the mention that it was made out of solid stone, I may be mistaken but I believe he said it was jade.
