Well, thanks for proving my original point. The true sign of a moron is one that can never back up his opinion with anything factual or intelligent, but instead resorts to petty insults and disbelief whenever he's confronted with an idea he doesn't like or agree with. It's just the trend most karate-bashers exhibit. It all does show how insecure you are; perhaps take a self esteem class if you ever go back to school, but I'd recommend avoiding any debate class because they actually have to have an intelligent argument.

Do a search on my posts about Karate. I have backed up my views extensivley, and on many occasions too. So much so the thought of enlightening idiots like you is becoming positively nauseating.

In short, I've been there. I've been in Traditional Karate and desperately tried to "prove" that it is a good real fighting method. It wasn't, I didn't and the rest is history.

uh huh........sure you have. Your insecurities and obvious stupidity make all MMA fighters look like they have an IQ of 40. You should work on that.

Oh and yes.....my traditional martial arts training has helped me in every conflict I've been in. I'm sorry if it pisses you off that you're wrong, but the traditional martial arts work just fine for me. Anta baka.

Ssssure, that's why you sent away for the tape and wear "Yellow Bamboo" T-shirts on casual Fridays and why there's a "Honk if you love Yellow Bamboo!" bumper sticker on the back of your tricycle

SLK this is sort of a loaded question. I mean there are quite a few factors to consider beyond the actual style, what is your reason for studying, your instructor, training, your dedication etc. But I would say only you can untamitely be the judge. Can you apply your techniques to real defense? It sounds like you can to some extent. It may just be that it is time for you to move on, so start researching other-different styles to add arsenal to become a well rounded fighter. In every style there is good and bad, but I think you can always walk away with something. Not all styles are for everyone, I am a grappler but I will always say grappling is not for everyone, but sure everyone can learn it.

                              Good Luck
