They mostly do a lot of sword defenses from the one I saw, wasn't too happy with it. And they don't fight as dirty as we do in the Bujinkan, so you might have to watch out for that

I saw the "UK" attached Zanflad so I thought I might mention that there was a group associated with Okabayashi Shogen's Hakuho ryu which was active in London.

Okayabashi was a direct student of Hisa Takuma and then Takeda Tokimune, the son of the founder of Daito-ryu. He did a seminar in England earlier this year so there must be a study group there now.

Not knowing where you are situated I don't know if that is helpful or not.

If you were to choose to pursue Daito-ryu and were anywhere near there that would be an excellent group to get hooked up with.

      Cheers,

            Hi,

I am a Dan grade under Okabayashi sensei. As far as i know the only authorised group practicing his style in the UK is Nine Circles in Gloucestershire where i practice. We put on the Seminar in Bracknell etc.

Can you supply more details regarding this London Group??

I think we are the only Traditional Aiki Ju Jutsu Group in the UK infact.

            Kind Regards
            Chris

I saw it in Okinawa actually. Not sure if there's any around here.
