Judo Competition Question(s)

Okay, I was wondering if there were purses for Judo competitions? and if so what is the general winnings for one competition? I would like to compete in Judo and my training may interefere with my job when I'm older (I'm hopefully going to be a therapist) so I was wondering if I would be able to get money through competitions to help fund my training or are all (or most) of the competitions just "for fun" or to just improve yourself and your fighting game? Thanks in advance for your positive feedback.

You can make money in Europe. Judo is huge in Europe. They have proffessional leagues.

No one likes Judo in America. No money for Judo in America.
