It was a wooden oak bokken, im not sure if its good material, but it came with a saya or scabbard i think. So i figured it would be good for sword drawing practice, was this a good choice?
it will probably be alright for practicing the drawing aspects of your art, but i dont trust red oak bokkens not to shatter when two collide...I require my students to use a bugei hickory bokken...they are about 70 bucks but they are VERY nice
