I used to break bricks, but a Boarspear said you should not break anything until your bones are done growing. After I realized how much it was messing up my hands I decided to condition them with Iron Palm training.

hes just pointing out the discrace of "demos" at mcdojos. the whole 4 year blackbelt thing ect... I mean, on this forum we talk about all martial arts, not the one branch of air punching high kicking brick breaking 7-11 black belting shit your being taught, this is a terrable awakening but you must not know what legit. martial arts are, and you should study those, further yourself in the RIGHT directing, not in this BS. You will get bashed out here just because we all recognize how much bulshit your dojo is, and you in time will realize the same, i can only pray.

You dont know anything about his school.
And why is 4yrs for a blackbelt so difficult to comprehend? People get bachelors degrees in 4yrs, and a BB is just learning the basics. This is the Japanese section, and most japanese schools practice board braking, I think 8 bricks is pretty good...try it danfaggella and then call his school names.

What is it that you practice again???
OK then, dont knock other peoples styles untill you pick one for yourself to try and learn.

I do brother, I'm going to a gym in Cranston and I practice MT/BJJ (the guy who runs it is an MMA guy, what do you expect). I'm also starting up the club wrestling team with a grad student and another freshamn like me at URI. I go to the Jujutsu club every monday, this is prett cool and mainly teaches self-defence (knees to the nuts ect...) but i pull some lessons out of it. And yeah I still train out in the yard with my boy submission grappling, and yeah i put on headgear and do a little boxing with elbows and takedowns. I haven't been in a school of one type for a long time and i dont call anyone 'sensei', but I'm diving into martial arts and i'm devoted as the next dude.

No wonder you've never broken a bone. Shit is generally pretty soft.

I don't think the issue is 4 years, the issue is 11 years-old.
