Were is a list of schools here in phoenix, az I could lookup online? I wqnt to do a japanese based art, and workout/training as well. Im not to into grappling as Im only 130 lbs, and prefure to learn pressure point attacks and good hand to hand. Any recommendations on what style I should try? I think taekwando is boring and all the "karate schools" are too basic, any ninjitsu or similar here in phoenix?

What do you mean? "too basic"

Are you referring to the "basics"? ex... Blocks, Strikes, Punches, Stances, etc....

Sorry but there is nothing else, the basics and combinations or variations of the basics is all there is.
IMHO, a school with strong focus on the "basics" is probably a good school!!!

I've seen alot of kids like you pass through the doors at my dojo, Frustrated with the length of time it takes to acquire any real skill in the martial arts. They usually spend just enough time to become discouraged and bounce around from one school to another with minimal effort and training looking for a "good school or Master from wich to become enlightened." My advice to you is to do a little homework and seek out the school that teaches a style that suits your needs. Then you should join and be like a sponge. Learn all you can, train hard and become proficient at your craft. then, train some more and become the best that you can be, all the while learning from others that have gone before you. Make mistakes and learn from them and remember, Martial arts is about the journey and not the destination.

      Good Luck

oh yeah, good instuctors may seem hard to come by, but a good student is even harder to find.

No I understand basics, Ive seen good teachers and ok ones, I took taekwando years ago, I thought it was kinda boring after a year I stopped, it was just basic kicking and punching and even the teachers didnt impress me, Ive seen demos by dojos back home in san diego, that blew my mind, I cant remember the styles though. any good videos on the different styles?
