Well I went to the seminar and it was too much fun! I enjoyed our training immensely. Lots of crazy long weapons (and some short weapons) with Japanese names I can't remember, and we learned some mass attack drills and battlefield stuff. Shihan Prather is an excellent teacher and we got good teaching points from the Godans as well, the progression was very well put together. I feel that everyone present really embodied what Hatsumi Sensei describes as the benevolent heart or warrior heart. There was also a kid's demo which was impressive (they can roll and evade with the best of 'em) oh and what are those egg things with the flour in them? And at the end we split up into two groups and played battlefield games. And after training all day we all put on formalwear and went to the best party I've been to in years.
