Your latest embarrassment on another board recently was pretty entertaining though!

Do you have any idea how far away Iga Ueno is from Tokyo? It's on the other side of the country, idiot!

The pics show I live here. Unlike you.

There definitely is such as thing as Kempo, because almost 1 million Japanese study it. Unliek Ninjutsu.

But can you read any of them? I can. Copy them and show me, please. I'd be interested to see what they said.
The former London Judo Society and Karate Kai used to display proudly a large cup, inscribed in Japanese, which many people thought was testament to a tournamount victory or some such. Until someone who could read it came along and told them that it was really an advert for Typhoo Tea...

If I wasn't taking Bujinkan, that would be my other choice. I have no need to knock it, however, just because it was invented by a Hawaiian.
Shorinji Kempo was not invented by a Hawaiian; it was founded by Kaiso So Doshin, who was born in Okayama Prefecture. You're thinking of Kenpo (with an "n" Karate). Shows how little you know.
The facts cannot be changed just because they make you unhappy. It is a FACT that ther eare no Japanese learning Ninjutsu; the scholars are all Westerners. And this is Japan. What does that tell you? Yo uraving and calling me a liar doesn't change that. Live with it.

I never said anything about the efficacy of Bujinkan. Go back and read all my posts. You're not reading what I write; you're reading what you think I should be writing to fit your already distorted view of who I am. And your rage has so blinded you that you are wrong on all counts. The only thing I'm telling you is that there is no such thing as Ninjutsu any more. It died out during the Meiji era.

You can throw out all the bullshit you want about having an advanced degree, being a translator, shitting piles of pure gold, whatever dude! It's meaningless when you say that "No japanese study ninjustu" Hatsumi is the soke of Bujinkan, so that counts as AT LEAST ONE PERSON!
If he's the soke (a dubious term in the 21st century, anyway), he's not studying it then, is he? He teaches it. Now, go find me a Japanese national who's studying under him here. As I said, all his students are gaijin.

      Who's Mattbla?
The facts are these: I am a professional Japanese translator with, among other things, a master's degree in Japanese history, in which I researched the history of MA. I have lived in Japan for 13 years, and been a Shorinji Kenshi for 21. There is nop such thing as Ninjutsu. All those who study Bujinkan in Japan are Westerners. You can rave and froth at the mouth all you like, but it changes nothing. These are FACTS, not opinions, and you cannot change them. Get it?

        Who the hell are you?
Note that AFAIK, I'm the only Japanese speaker on this board, and the only one to have lived in this country. So, who is better placed than I am to explain Japan?
