i've studied a couple different Tae Kwon Do styles as well as Shotokan. There's alot of simularity in the styles, katas and training. Some blocks that arn't learned in the lower belt levels are taught in the higher belt levels. But evenutally you'll learn pretty much the same thing. There both hard style fighting. Not much grappling in eather one, unless the instructor learns from outside the art.
