Umm... yes.
On the one hand, we intend to get really fit, so we eat nothing but peanut casseroles and lentil spritzers, but on the other hand, as soon as training finishes, we all pile into the boozer.
yeah i guess theres nothing wrong with one drink now and then..also i read somewhere that taken very ocasionnaly, alcool(not beer, only the alcool in it) can help ''clean up'' your intestines...i gotta verify that though...isnt it great now i just gave one more reason for some of you to start drinking.

A small amount of alcohol, say on glass of ale or red wine a day, is good for your heart, but not much beyond that. Of course, I don't drink for health reasons...

What about for mental health reasons. I find alcohol as a depressant, works wonders as a general sedative and emotional regulating implement. Of course there are exceptions, such as Jack Daniels...which makes me stabby.

Alcohol is certainly a depressant, which is why it can calm you if you're hyper. The problem is that it also releases inhibitions, so if you are prone to violence, then a drink can do bad things to you.
