...I liked Sonny Chiba playing him better...at least Chiba was Kyokushin, and not TKD. He played Oyama in a number of films, including "Champion of Death", and "The Bullfighter"
by the way...here's Chiba in "Streetfighter"...the best fucking Karate film ever made;
(can you say WHERE'S MY MOTHERFUCKIN' MONEY...IS CHIBA GONNA HAVE TO CHOKE A BITCH?)
and this is what he stole from Bruce Lee

But back to TOUGH real masters...how 'bout Mr. Masahiko Kimura...this is him over 60 throwing some other judoka around like a ragdoll.
I wonder how well he'd stack up to against a Gracie...oh...wait...it was only the most epic fight of the century.
Helio's still got it!
This is historic too...a fixed match (with a Japanese "pro" wrestler) that ended very poorly...too bad it wasn't real, Kimura would have killed him.
Jigoro Kano the founder of Judo
Morhei Ueshiba the founder of Aikido
and...**** it...might as well, here's something for the TKD fans- General Choi
here's Hapkido's founder Yong Sool Choi
Dr. Hatsumi...da ninja. lol

Is there a movie that would be the Judo equivalent of what Rocky is for boxing or Street Fighter is for karate?

Why...out of sheer fucking curiosity...not that I really care...do you have the handle "Tai Chi Fighter", and then have a sig that says "Karetaka"?Originally posted by Tai Chi Fighter View PostYes, Seven Samurai was good. I loved it. I am THE biggest fan of Akira Kurosawa, and Toshiro Mifune. They did great work together.
Make up yo damn mind, fool.
