Did this thread just turn into a gathering of Trekies? :0

Dammit. I can't do anything right.
I'm actually only a very minor sci-fi geek; most of my time geeking is spent on MA's now. Sounds like you got it all right to me, though. DC was awesome in the 70's and 80's, I also like the Next Generation better, and I opened my Star Wars men and shot the extras I had with a BB gun...well, all except one.

I got two Han Solos for my 8th or 9th birthday and suspected it might be good to leave one in the package for some reason, so I opened one and put the other one away. I kept it for years and years until my nephew's idiot mom found it about ten or twelve years later, opened it, and gave it to him to play with. If I still had it it would be worth ONE THOUSAND F***ING DOLLARS!!!!

Sure, I'll up his odds. If I remember the Star Trek episode correctly, Kirk eventually defeated the Gorn by jury rigging a homemade shotgun using gunpowder he made and diamonds for shot. He seems pretty impervious to blunt force trauma so Coke can probably won't hurt him too badly, but it might distract the slow Gorn enough for the Sleestak to do some damage with the needle. Props to the Sleestak for following Brewer's first rule of unarmed combat.
