why should i get a "clue" because you said so and your all knowing or what. i have actually put a lot of thought about who i should pick in the upcoming election. and tell you the truth if i thought bush was better than the cantidate running for the democrats i would pick him. but i truly believe that bush is a enormous threat to the u.s. in general. i guess i would consider myself to be a independent. its not me who needs to get a clue its the people who vote for a president and say"i voted for bush because he had a personallity"

When I first started I got to 4th Kyu in about 1 1/2 years, I trained and trained and worked out at home. I then Had to leave for a while to do a degree, but on my return I found that as soon as a got to 3rd Kyu I felt like I could take on a self-defense situation because I was able to control my body better and actually <i> use </i> the principles I was taught dynamically.

In the time I was away my friends attained 2 Dan and one is now my instructor on certain nights of the week.

It took me seven years to get as good as I am all in all, if I had kept it up I think I would have been at my current level about 4 years ago... I think thats aboutish the time span that people are saying it should take to become 'good'.
