Not really the "western" idea. The fantasy of ninja having supernatural abilities and stuff started in Japan. Not that anyone takes it seriously, but it's not a "western" invention.

I remember seeing a Japanese parody on the Western idea of a Ninja. It was hilarious! They showed a Ninja (a guy dressed up in the Ninja uniform) lifting up a car. Another clip showed a Ninja striking a typical traditional type MA stance/pose in front a a skyscraper, shouting "Heeeyaahh!!" and then proceeding to leap to the top of the building in a single bound. Another showed one deflecting bullets with metal strips strapped to his arms and then when his opponent has run out of bullets, the Ninja grabbed his gun and chopped it up into tiny pieces. All done with that zany sense of humour that the Japanese have.

    Batmans car rocks.

If I burn a symbol into my arms can I become a Ninja too??

if you'll remember, Batman had to get his phat ride on his own. Ninja's are kinda cheapskates.

The ninja mobile...it's like a cross between a black Honda Civic and a rikshaw.

CRAP!! I've been in ninjitsu for over 10 years waiting for someone to show me all the magic stuff; especially how to fly. I thought they were just holding back until the proper moment.

    I can't believe this.
