    "Ninjitsu As The Ultimate Martial Art" By Kane - Sat, 02 Sep 2006 21:15:30 GMT

    =========

    Anyone seen the national geographic documentary "Fight Science"? They claim that ninjitsu is the ultimate martial art because it combines all forms of fighting (striking, grappling, submission, archery, explosives, sword, dagger, balance, ect.) into one art.

    Is this generally considered true? I personally still think "There are no superior styles, only superior individuals" but I've heard a lot about ninjitsu's supposed superiority. I've never done it though so I'm not sure.

    for the real answers, I suggest the following;

    realultimatepower.com

    or askaninja.com

    or any book by ashida kim.

    Seriously Matsumi is about the only guy on earth with any plausible claim to being a ninjitsu practitioner...and alot of people are skeptical about that. Having balance like that can easily be accomplished by practicing on those damn things daily. The heavy "deathblow" thing was bullshit. Anyone can deliver a hammer type strike to the solar plexus. Anyone.

      I guess the art is quite comprehensive which is why many would say it is the ultimate art.

      just like mma fighters train in a striking and grappling, it is good to have a whole mixture of skills

      but, I have never taken it....

        I found it is the best art for me. It incorporates everything I was looking for and is very complete in what it covers.
