  • Looking for School

Well, I've always wanted to learn Ninjitsu, but I can't seem to find any schools near me. I live in Southern New Jersey and it would be great if anyone could refer me to a school that teaches Ninjitsu or any similar martial art.

    Thanks, Zach

well actually you are in a good area for ninjutsu, its strange u cant find any schools around you. there are alot of them. do u have transportation? you might have to travel a little but it would be worth it.

I do, but the nearest ones I can find are in North Jersey, atleast 1 and a half hours away. That's a far ride and a lot of gas. My zip code is 08081, maybe you would know of any that aren't really listed? I've tried looking for months online.

princeton middlesex and spring lake all have some ninjutsu schools. but i couldnt find the one on the border. probably because they stick pretty much to themselves. also there is bansenshukai ninjutsu in delaware. i guess it really is going to depend on how far you are willing to travel for your training. i would say make sure this is what you want to do because that can get pretty expensive.

yeah it is. don't get me wrong, i can't describe how much i have been wanting to take it but i might not be able to afford it in the first place for paying for lessons AND that long trip, especially with my jeep at about 14 mpg, haha

looking at distances though, the group on the border of maryland or princeton are the most viable options. the group is about 45 minutes while princeton is around an hour

yeah those two options would be best. jack hoban is in princeton he was one of the first in america to practice ninjutsu. him and bud malmstrom were steve hayes first students. bud actually still runs the first school. jack is great at what he does, also he is a bigger guy so he has to make things work differently so it would be good insight from him. but if you really want ninjutsu you just gotta go for it.
