I don't know for sure, but I'm guessing that it's not our Ryu. Our Ryu is a Vu guy, which would also make him an Inosanto guy, but that guys bio doesn't mention Vu.

now i was under the impression that all JKD guys were from the inosanto camp, since he was the only one to get permission from Bruce Lee to carry on the art. am i wrong in thinking this?

All joking aside this is why you need to read not just "experience". After 8years of JKD it is an odd question. But to answer you are right that Inosanto was the only one given permision but he in not the only one that has trained students. I will not list them all (you could search some of these threads) but ther are many generations o JKDers teaching and certifying. Infact JKD is the easiest MA to get certified you can do it in as little as a weekend seminar in some cases and in some cases there is very high quality instruction
