  • Wilding!

I was watching the Denver news last night; they had a segment on what appears to be a new craze, at least for Denver called wilding. This is were about a dozen or so youths get together and go out and attack people just for the hell of it! They don’t now the people they attack, and they videotape it for their own amusement.

They showed one of the videos on TV and they were just pounding the hell (8-10 on 1) out of this guy, and when they were done with him they turned on other guy. It was amazing and sickening.

In cases like these Martial arts aren’t enough you need to be carrying weapons.

    From the Denver news:

Early in the morning of Sunday, June 13, about a dozen people gathered on Market Street and went on a rampage, attacking at least eight other people. Dozens of people witnessed the attacks that happened on a grid-locked Market Street, between 19th and 20th streets.

"You could see it from right here, to be honest with you," said Ian McClure, manager of LoDo's Bar and Grill. He said a group of young men stopped a vehicle and proceeded to break the windows out of the car.

This kind of attack is videotaped. Hence, it is not a true attack and is COMMERCIALIZED.

Sorry, just kidding . It is just horrible and I hope the cops bust them soon.

I know this isn’t exactly new. These happen all the time at sporting events, rock concerts, riots, and things like that. But for this to happen in Denver for now other apparent reason than getting their rocks off is pretty evil.

This maybe an isolated incident and may not happen again. But people need to take charge of their own self-defense, and sorry but Joe’s hunan bun chi school of martial arts isn’t going to cut it. The police may have a larger presence in LoDo now but what about next week, or what about in an other location in Denver? The police can’t be everywhere to protect you, and some of these criminals commit senseless violence just for the fun of it. People need to stop thinking “It’s not gonna’ happen to me” cuz’ you just never know, and never say never.

Chief Gerry Whitman said Friday that he ordered the massive police presence to deter a group of 11 men, who filmed themselves kicking, punching and dragging people from their cars, from coming back to roam LoDo after the bars close - and to keep copycats from doing the same.

Whitman said the group went up and down the 1900 block of Blake Street early June 14, punching people through open car windows, starting fights on the sidewalk and, in one instance, going through the pockets of one man.
