I missed this thread the first time around.

I wish they had taught me how to do those fancy kicks in my JKD class. I never got a black belt either. Or monks' robes. I wish we had worn monks' robes.

      ...you've gotta be kidding me...!!

Don't get me wrong. The choreography was nice.

Those looked like advertisements aimed at people who BELIEVE that's what fighting looks like.

We all know it's BS, but you gotta give the guy credit... he knows how to put something together that will attract attention.

        Sorry man. No JKD here!

I hate to say it, but those clips looked like something out of a Tiger Schulman's Karate advertisement.

Mike was right. The choreography looked like something out of TKD, and they may have watched a little wing chun and boxing videos. It was in no way actual wing chun or boxing techniques. Just sounds like another ma school trying to make money of the JKD name.

All the close in action was completely ineffectual wiggling - not fighting. No one threw anything worth a damn, no one tried to clinch, and no one even attempted to and a meaningful shot.

These guys may be stunt doubles in a Don "the Dragon" Wilson movie someplace, but JKD they ain't.

That was crap. They never hit each other anywhere but the hands. Sheesh you call that fighting? Ok i'll admit they were fast and all. But its not use being fast and not ever landing a decent hit.
I've seen catfights that were just as fast and at least the girls slapped each other hard.

I saw this months back, a sick joke by a bunch of russians who wish they had a JKD presence, but will seemingly never get one.

                HEy

These guys bounce around alot. they are way too much off balance. They are trading punches. They are crossing thir legs, again of ballance and they are dancing.lol Some of the hand techniques I saw that were decent. But most of teh time , there was no sense of timing or distance involved. No feinting, nothing.this is a want to be JKD who actually does not understand the basics. They must be so distracted by the look they dont see the punch.
They are practicing teh system but there is none.

                  It's JKD!!!

                  First it is training.
Secondly also it is not necessary to meet under the form?
Thirdly how it is possible to declare fraudulent group if are not familiar??
In-fourth i would like to look clips of all critics declaring here that
                  1 - is no balance,
                  2 - is not JKD,
3 - there are no feints,
                  4 - do not beat,
                  5 - weak impacts.

If you ever ACTUALLY study JKD you will recognize a number of aspects that make it real JKD... If those aspects are MISSING or are being POORLY imitated then it's safe to say it's NOT JKD....
