...Randy Couture is the ultimate in JKD, str8blast, and whatever real fighting there is in jkd or anywhere else. I have been following the ultimate fighter show on Spkie network. I am absolutely amazed by Randy Couture's technical knowledge and his strategic approach to the game. I have picked up bits and pieces of things, little things like how to counter a Thai foot jab, that I have never read or seen anywhere else. I have read everything by or about Bruce Lee, Joe Lewis, and wing chun.
I have read hundreds of books, thousands of articles, and seen umpteen videos, not to mention the 3000+ fights I've seen in 30 years. Randy has elevated fighting to a whole new level. He is truly amazing, and not the least for his gentlemanly demeanor and his polite way of dealing with people.

Indeed. I even saw him on C-SPAN on the assembly floor of the Ca Senate. He was trying to convince legeslators that Ca. should sanction MMA events in this state. We have many top schools here and it seems that the demand or interest in MMA events is growing still. Stupid politicians!
