The International Jeet Kune Do Alliance is hosting the 1st Annual JKD Beach Camp in Huntington Beach California.

Come and learn from several 1st and 2nd Generation Instructors from the Oakland, Seattle and L.A. Chinatown eras.

Dates: August 12-14, 2005

Larry Hartsell - Original Bruce Lee Student in L.A.
Steve Johnson - Original Bruce Lee Student in Oakland and L.A.
Joe Lewis- Original Student of Bruce Lee and former World Champion Kickboxer.
Lamar Davis-Certified by 5 of BRuce Lee's Original Students
[B]Tommy Carruthers/B]- All the way from ScotlandTrained Under Ted Wong and Jesse Glover
William E. Holland II - Trained with 11 of Bruce Lee's Original Students
Chris Sutton-Over 20 years exp. Trained under Jesse Glover & Ed Hart
Jerry Wetzel-Centerline Gym will be teaching the Crazy Monkey

Special Notes* Top JKD Instructor & Author will be teaching but will remain anonymous until the opening day of camp.

Tommy Carruthers is coming from Scotland to teach a segment at the camp.

Special Certificates of Training will be signed by all of the Instructors.

We will be literally right on the beach and will be taking some time to teach some surfing lessons.

Special Awards Dinner will finish off 3 hard days of training.

$275 for all 3 days

UPDATE ON THE JKD BEACH CAMP.

Joe Lewis has just agreed to teach at the camp as has Tommy Carruthers who will be coming over from Scotland.

Joe will be sharing what he and Bruce Lee did in their training sessions together.

Tommy will be teaching a lot of stuff he has learned from Jesse Glover and Ted Wong amongst others.

Paper Tigers

People tell me that readers of JKD Forums are nothing but Paper Tigers and Arm Chair Quarterbacks who read Bruces Words and watch his movies but don't really train or practice what they emulate. [B]SAY IT ISN'T SO![/B]

This JKD Beach Camp is an opportunity to train and learn from some very knowledgeable people from the different eras of Bruces' and JKD development.

Many of Bruces original students are getting up in years and will not be teaching for too much longer. Don't pass up this chance to gain insight and personal first hand knowledge from those who trained with Bruce.

Beach Camp Forecast

Between Larry Hartsell's guys, Chris Sutton's gang coming down from the Seattle area, Joe Lewis' contingent and some others coming from the So Cal area, we are looking fair to midlin. Need some more support though.
