Jan Fan is simply Bruce Lee's name in Chinese. People who say they study JUN FAN JKD are those stating that they train in Bruce Lee's JKD (his martial art) the way he trained and taught before his passing.

Depending on who you talk to, Jun Fan can also refer to the earlier period of Bruce Lee's teaching curriculum, roughly the early to mid-1960's. It's considered the pre-cursor to JKD.
