Geez,
Yeah I guess I have no idea about martial arts,
I've only been training longer than you have been alive, and teaching for 11 years.
Come back when you get an education. Martial arts and otherwise. You think you've got it figured out, but you are coming off like you don't have a clue. You are in a JKD forum, it has lots of people who understand and practice JKD. I suggest if you want to be a martial artist you train with some. a few months of TKD isn't going to cut it. Hell 9 months in TKD won't even give you timing and the ability to read body language.
Martial arts is seperate from religion. Some may choose to combine the two but that is their problem.
You want to be a writer and a poet, fine, but you need to have an original thought not parrot back the words of others. That's what you are doing now. Certainly they have martial arts schools in texas. Perhaps a trip to Houston to Mr. Mousel's school will open your eyes a bit about what the words you are talking about are really about.

I've never read the Tao of JKD, or anything really related. I read The Art of War and several other books that are commentaries of the Art of War, one written by a descendant of Sun Tzu. I also read the Book of 5 Rings, which I liked.
But, my friend Mr. Goodcat, despite my lack of 'enlightenment', I can still kick your ass all over the place. And in the end, it's not your spirituality and enlightened-ness (think I just made up a new word) that'll save your life. It's simply knowing the techniques to survive.
I took about a year of TKD. I don't claim to know a thing. I have a mean side kick though, and I promsie you I may not do it completely right, but it still works well enough for my purposes.
Your concepts: kicking low, adapting techniques, viewing the martial arts as formless, etc. were invented over three decades ago by a man who will likely never be surpassed as a thinker and inventor in the field of martial arts. Many of the people here on this forum, and many more around the world, have practiced these techniques and will do fine without your enlightenment, which doesn't really come across all that clear anyway, because I can't stand to read your syntax for more than a few seconds.
Now, I can't fight like Bruce Lee. I'm less an expert on JKD than anyone in this forum. I mostly know Combatives and a bit of BJJ and some Muay Thai.
You call yourself a martial artist. I doubt that. There are people who work their entire lives to EARN that title. Bruce Lee comes to mind as one. Dan Inosanto, another. (He recently made an appearance on a National Geograpich show called Fight Science, demonstrating his stick-fighting abilities, at well over the age of 60). Now that's a martial artist.
But a man who writes the same ideas that were put forth many years ago, ideas that were practiced long before you were born, does not strike me as enlightened and will fail in enlightening anyone else.
Take care.

And I'll bet you anything it's not unique. Somebody else has probably dreamed it up somewhere... and then he dumped it after he broke his pinky while trying to use it to deliver a knockout punch.
