still a scope, besides i wasnt talking about an arcade game, i dont go to arcades anymore

im not really into scopes so much, pistols are small and easier to hide. pistols are what i use the most so i comfortable with them. i never shot a real gun before, never even touched one. i have two c02's and 2 airsoft. and one air rifle. but i dont think bullet shooting pistols are that different. it probably jerks more when u shoot it, so it may not take that much to get use to it. i have reading around different shooting methods and the atrocious police fatality rate, people are now blaming the methods they are taught in academy, such as the 2 handed sight (holding it with 2 hands). Many actual gun shoot out videos have been observed and they didnt see anyone actually using the guns sight, they just point and shoot. the 2 handed method has been proved ineffective in close quarter from 5 to 8 feet. as for me i use them with 1 hand, hehe but im not so good when i use both. no doubt ill probably suck for a couple weeks when i start using real guns but sucking isnt permanent unless you dont learn

Actually, a CO2 pistol and a real pistol are a lot different. The mechanics, trigger pull, recoil (as you mentioned), and ballistics are completely different.

And the two-handed system you mention is a variation of the Weaver stance. And it works.

Think about it. With two hands on the weapon, it's harder to wrest away from you than with a one handed grip, and the distance from you to the weapon is less than with the one-hand. Also, it's more stable, and more easy to fire from a draw.

its not as if im trying to shoot 3 cans with a pistol blind folded. even tho thats probably possible. but i like the point shoot method. it works for me. explain to me why the police mortality rate is so high night stalker

                • ok back to martial arts. id like to comment on what I -believe- a martial artist comprises of. ok this is my opinion if it makes u feel better so dont insult me like im preaching again. but to me ok, to me. a martial artist is not only someone who can physically perform moves from various taught martial arts, but someone who holds some form of the ''samurai spirit'', a mind that is set strongly on self control, growth, and dicipline. never to allow anger to take over you or any other emotions of that matter. but someone who has done some sort of meditative thinking for years and sees what most do not see. the martial art mind is like no other. back then when samurais existed, do you think they had video games? or plasma tvs? no, i dont. they trained for hours every day. meditation until dawn as well. they understood themselves and the enviornment around them. so i gues what im trying to say is not being a martial artist is not just physical but mental, never to allow distracting things such as a girl friend or video games or movies get in the way. never to train with other things on your mind. and to be contempt with your life and understand it which not many people do

Oh man, why can't you learn the joy of strategic silence?

Samurai were not emotionless by any means, and the great majority of them did not meditate for hours and hours everyday.

                    Just...be...quiet for a while.

sure they do, and you wouldnt know that unless you went back in time and met them. the samurai spirit had nothing to do with total domination over your enemies , but honor and dicipline and a total understanding of what what/is important of that time.

                        Ugh......

Kid, you would serve yourself well by actually studying history before making proclamations about things you don't know about.

I'm trying to be helpful here!

                          • Hey Mr Good Cat, you're getting a lot of stick at the moment, but at least you're putting on your own views across now.

Keep going and take all the criticism in a positive light, if nothing else it's character building.

Because our less than fine citizens of this country have assault weapons that pierce body armor.

The mortality rate and the way police fire their weapons is not linked. Out of the myriad shooting styles, modified-Weaver has proven itself time and again.

The one-handed pistol stance will work great with that little CO2 pistol... until you meet a weapon that has recoil, and then it's suddenly a lot harder to control.

I'd like to know where you got your information...
