Personally, I did not care for the first two clips. As for the third clip, no offense intended here, but try to understand that in a real fight - a street fight - even such language itself can be intimidating, and thus, one more distraction in the way of defending oneself.Originally posted by matbla View Posti did not care for the launage but there o.k i guess
Some self-defense training methods incorporate it as a means of training one in being used to such "rough language," upon it's encounter. For that reason, it's a very useful aspect of training in the ugly reality that's out there. It helps both the training partner-oponent to go that much more into "ugly" as much as it does the training partner-defender to properly react in it's presence.
Compare "Give me your wallet!" to "Give me your fucking wallet- motherfuckker!" Very offensive, as you experinced when you wrote your post, yes, thus it's effectiveness at neutralizing one, and thus the need to train in it's context.
