Hi everyone,
I am very interested in Training in JKD. I live in the Nashville TN area and cannot locate any Jun Fan JKD instructors. I have been active in martial arts for quite some time. My ultimate goal is to open my own martial arts school or at the very least be an instructor in someone else's school. What do I need to do to obtain certification? Are the training DVDs that I have seen on the internet worth it?
A little information about myself: I am 37 years old. I have 7-8 years of training in Southern Style Shaolin Kung Fu but have not trained in that style for 12 years so I am quite rusty. Most recently I have been training in Wado Ryu Karate for about 1 year and I am getting ready for my 4th belt test (purple). My ultimate goal is to open my own martial arts school or at the very least be an instructor in someone else's school.
