I ordered the Greg Nelson Clinch set from http://edgesvideo.com/pages/nelson/gnclinch.htm
... $59.95 plus s&h for both tapes.
The tapes arrived Friday. That's the way I like to do business!
The 1st tape lasts 56 min and covers...
=============================
Section 1 - Basic Positioning
Section 2 - Arm weaving
Section 3 - Knees
Section 4 - Positioning and knee counters
Section 5 - Takedowns & throws
=============================
The tape starts with the various clinch positions..... both inside, neck & bicep, both under arms, etc..
Goes to various ways to weave your arms in to go for inside/dominant position.
Shows the various types of knees.
Next is defending against the knees..... via blocking, and manipulating his body, etc....
Finally.... Takedowns & throws.... including sweeps, reaps, throws...
The first thing I noticed upon opening the tapes were that they included an outline of the material covered on each tape... nice touch! I often create a outline for tapes which contain a lot of material I want to work... for easy reference... so Edge2 saved me some time... thanks. I don't have a real strong background in Muay Thai, but much of the material covered was new to me. The tape was well edited, and I liked the way after each section a quick (keyword=quick) review of the material covered in that section. The combination of good price, quick turnaround, unique material, and quality audio-video gets a big thumbs up from me!
If your looking for MT(with cross over to MMA) clinch material, get this tape.
After I watch the second tape, and get a chance.... I'll review that one too.
Later...
