It wasn't your question that caused any trouble.

In terms of my response to it. I'm a very straight guy, and where as people hide behind Internet names and personalities, I just try to be myself. Some people like that, some people don't. Some people REALLY don't! The answer I gave to your question is exactly what I would have said if you'd called me or came to see me, you seem like a good guy so I didn't want to patronise or mislead you.

Telling someone which martial art is best for them is like telling someone what music to like, how to be a parent or who to fall in love with. They have to find out for themselves.

If you have any specific questions about JKD please send me a PM and I will do my best to help.

Wow. I feel bad that my post caused so much commotion. It may have not been the best question, but I appreciated everyone's comment's not matter what they were. I am new here and new to martial arts. For those of you who have been around, I have nothing but respect for you. Still, newbies like me may make posts to subjects you have seen many times, I hope that you have some patience and remember you were new to all this at one time and also had questions.

I have trained with 8 original student of Bruce Lee - Dan Inosanto, Larry Hartsell (RIP), Steve Golden, Ted Wong, Jerry Poteet, Howard Williams, Jesse Glover and Taky Kimura. I have taught JKD to the Police, Armed Forces, Security Teams, Bodyguards, Doorstaff and thousand of students across the last decade.

I'm shocked! I mean...given your demeanor & ill temperment. You obviously weren't interested in the philosophical side of JKD now were you? How would these people feel if they knew how you were acting & some of the things you've said?

I too have studied with some of these people (and I don't mean distance training). One I'm very good friends with and he'd be surprised @ your name-calling and lack of self-control.

You rocked up here a couple of days ago, and started stamping your feet all over the JKD forum, telling everyone what's what about everything. You're throwing your weight around like you own the place, and you're coming across as an arrogant, rude childish little prick.

If you want to be part of a good JKD forum then I think this is the best one on the web. There are some very experienced instructors on here who offer a great contribution. If you want to be part of that then I suggest you wind your neck in and drop the fucking attitude.

All I've seen you write so far is cliche bullshit that you read in a book or saw in a DVD, we've had a hundred guys on here like you and you won't be around long. So if YOU would like to make a positive contribution then stop going around jumping on other people's posts and being a condescending prick.

And yet you're the one suffering from testosterone poisoning. You lose your temper start cursing & you routinely pontificate about things you obviosly know very little about (JKD). You're caustic & antagonistic.
