The moment you step into the world of facts, you step into a world of limits. You can free things from alien or accidental laws, but not from the laws of their own nature. Do not free a camel of the burden of his hump: you may be freeing him from being a camel.
although, i really do love my school...it's great, as a matter of fact, i probably wouldn't last too long at Guro Dan's because i assume there has to be a lot of politics within the ranks just to get on his good side...that would bother me. And Francis Fong's school sounds cool...but for the long term i'm really happy where i am.
"Son, we're not saying that there's anything wrong with you...but its just that NORMAL boys your age DON'T spend all day lifting weights and learning how to choke people to death!"
There are no particular places I'd really rather be than the places where I train now, but there are other names and schools that I'd also love the opportunity to train under as well. Training at the Lion's Den would be cool. If I lived closer to Beverly Hills I'd probably be going to Beverly Hills Jiu Jitsu (Bas is one of my personal heroes). Gokor's school is also very good. It'd be interesting to train at one of those hardcore Vale Tudo places in Brazil such as Shootbox Academy (Vanderlei Silva...another personal hero of mine). I'd love to train under Frank Shamrock. If I was in Hawaii I'd definitely seek out Burton Richardson. There are few people in the newer generation of JKD who can match his wisdom and knowledge.
Several of my other training dreams include being taught CQB shooting by the Marine Corps' top instructors, traveling into the mountains of China to be taught the secret death touch and earning my apprentice instructorship in Tae Bo under Billy Blanks
