"Kripalu yoga is the study of breath and movement through asana (postures) and pranayama (yogic
breathing techniques). Regular practice soothes the mind and nervous system while strengthening and
purifying the body. Holding postures works muscular static strength and improves flexibility. Deep belly
breathing improves lung capacity. In our yoga class at B.A.D. students will work through a series of postures
and breathing techniques in each class with the goal of recuperating their mind and bodies from the rigors
of hard training that they expose themselves to such as sparring, rolling, weight training, etc.. Our yoga
class is appropriate for all levels as I will always offer several different levels of intensity to work at
in each pose."
