what is Jeet Kun Do?

I have heard that Bruce Lee developed it not jsut as a physical attribute but mostly as a mental/emotional philosophy a spiritual concept and perception of WHO you are. body, mind as well as soul. SO I am assuming that JKD isn't really a standard set of stances and moves like taekwondo or Muay Thai? that JKD is kind of a mixture of what you personally have th passion for??? please tell me hahaha See I am really passionate about Muay Thai but I also love seeing Samurai arts and well Bruce Lee to me wasnt a martial artist in the strict sense(that is not meant as an insult!) i mean he was beyond the physical realm of martial arts, he was like this moving spirit beyond the body, amazing. He was amazing. so if anyone can tell me something PLEASE:
