    Pencode,

These guys Robert & Jules are going to reply and say "bullshit" How do we know that is real, or you're just making it up like they said about my conversation with Kareem. They'll say it's just heresay becuse they don't want to believe that anything someone else says is true, especially if it doesn't go along with what they WANT to believe. They might even say something really dumb, like Father Gregory had something to gain by saying it, like they said about Dan or Weintraub.
It's almost fun arguing with these guys just to hear what ridiculous comments they will make next. They contradict what they say from one reply to the next. See the comments they make on "Who did Bruce Lee actually fight." If you read it from beginning to end you'll see what I mean.

Who started this bloody stupid thread?

Anyway. Info about Bruce doesn't just disappear. No sir. It just appears. Out of the minds of His disciples.

Perhaps Bruce didn't do the arts any favours after all. I mean, his theories don't seem to have brought anyone else anywhere near to the super human standard he attained.

Or maybe he didn't attain it.

this is getting interesting. with all the stories of bruces great abilities....yeah, who did he really fight???? you have to prove what you have by doing just that. chuck norris in his book "the secret power within" states bruce couldnt block his kicks to the head, and kept hitting bruce. so he wasnt so great if chuck was doing that.
with alot of hype, anyone can be a master, but you need proof to back up your claim.
you hear alot of stories of small altercations, but what about real all out brawls..???? even hawkins cheung in an iterview of him sparring with bruce claims he could have taken bruce out many times.
but its all words, we will never know. bruce is gone, but the stories keep growing.

          Thai Bri can't you read?

The Smurf told us the following:

"Much of the info on Bruce is disappeared now...either destroyed or owned by someone somewhere not to be released."

The Smurf has seen the secret Bruce archives. We need to take his word for it. I mean sure, Bruce told the public he only did 90 pound squats, but in the secret archives you'll find his true routine. Therein it is said that Bruce did 90 pound squats--on one toe! He could snatch 800 lbs.--with one finger on the bar. He once threw 8000 punches in nanosecond! No one ever recorded this though because he threw the punches too fast for the camera to catch it, or for anyone to witness it. Bruce once went to the Shaolin temple and defeated all the monks all by himself. Its true...just ask the Smurf. In fact, it has also been said that Bruce not only kicked the crap out of a whole village of smurfs, when he was done, he went over and kicked Gilgamesh so hard his entire body exploded! Now that's power! Its not everyday that you see a guy make a cartoon character explode. Oh yeah, and Bruce wiped out all the Triads in Hong Kong, then went to Japan the next day and whooped on all the Yakuza. And then he took on the ninjas. I mean there are some good stories in Bruce's secret archives. You could make some money off that. But, of course, we know that people never sell information to writer's for money. Of course not. Professional biographers could never get their hands on the secret Bruce archives. Someone somewhere is above that.

Thai Bri: please don't allow some of the hot air that is showing up on this thread to make you short sighted, many of the basic fact that we now know were unknown before Bruce Lee, Bruce added much to our knowledge of martial arts.

                Robert,

That last post had to be the most immature thing I've heard from someone over the age of six. As usual, when someone can't back up what they say, they start with the "yeah O.K. you're right about everything" crap.
Listen to Jukado. Martial Arts would not be what they are today if not for Bruce Lee. No one said he was a god or super human in this thread, just that he was a great martial artists who did win the fights he got into. No one claimed any tournament victories so why you guys keep asking for proof of that is beyond me.
As I said in my last and final answer to the "who did Bruce Lee actually fight" thread, everyone in the UFC learned from Bruce. They learned that there is no one superior martial art. You must learn a little of numerous arts to win a fight. You need to use the art that is applicable in a given situation. No other martial art besides JKD teaches all four fighting ranges. These are just a few of the things that we all learned from Bruce. Well, maybe not all judging by your ridiculous comments.
Even the master that I earned two black belts from (how many do you have?) did not want to admit that Bruce Lee was a better fighter than him. I was smart enough to realize that his ego was getting in the way and ignored his comments. I learned what I could from him and then moved on. (to JKD)
Tell whoever you are learning from to get there ego out of the way and give credit where it is due.
That is all I will respond to on this thread as well.

Dommstar, It is ok. You are dealing with extremely closed minded people. What they don't realize is that anyone anywhere even looking to try to sell, distribute or design anything about Bruce Lee will be met with a big time law suit from Linda and the Bruce Lee Estate. Couple years ago Bob Wall tried to release some never before seen footage and a book and Linda stepped in to put a halt to it real quick. Approximately eight years ago, a video of Bruce sparring was not allowed to go to market...again because of Linda. But you know, the nay sayers will just repeat themselves again. The stuff I have will be passed down to my kids and grandkids. Hopefully it will have attained some decent value in the near future.

If there was a lawsuit by Mrs. Lee than it would be a matter of public record. So all those who say that Mrs. Lee or anyone else is sueing other people from releasing footage can just get a copy of the law suit and give us a link to it/scan it . But then again if it is one of those "proofs" or "facts" that you don't care to back up then you shouldn't be saying it in the first place.

We need proof that air exists even though we can't see it. We need proof that bacteria exists since we can't see it with the naked eye...proof that electrons don't move faster than the speed of light....proof, prooooof, PROOOOOOOF.
Like a broken record. Well, if it is a matter of public record, you should be able to find it yourself shouldn't you. Or do you need proof that a justice building exists.

Hey Dommstar, WaTEr, do you guys have proof that you exist. You know birth records are a matter of public record so maybe they need PROOF.

yes if you want to be taken seriously you provide proof.

But the burden of proof is on you. You know it, I know it, and everyone here knows it.

You know what's really funny is I've read Chuck's Book and it's not consistent with Bruce Lee's known abilities and tactics. Frankly, I think Chuck was trying to promote himself after Bruce had died.

Chuck claims that Bruce was trying to block his spinning kick, but failed in every attempt. It seems quite odd that Bruce Lee couldn't counter a spinning kick—being noted as a very fast individual. Chuck Norris DID NOT have a fast spin kick and the fastest spin kicks are still easy to read and counter. A very unlikely scenario.

In truth, I don't believe what anyone says about Bruce Lee these days. Too many people are out to make a buck. For example, for all the ranting Joe Lewis does against Bruce, he goes out an publishes a book called, "Master Bruce Lee's Fighting Method."

I tend to agree that Bruce Lee was a rare individual much like Socrates, or Da Vinci—creative and innovative. His legacy has left a mark as the Greastest Martial Artist that ever lived. Few people can accomplish that.

i tend to agree with you on the account of chuck norris claiming to hit bruce with his spin kick, it just doesnt fit with the way bruce fought. if he did hit bruce, the bruce wasnt intercepting, and not jkd. no matter what, as you say bruce was a rare individual, i have yet to see anyone match his accomplishments.....i doubt we ever will.

Don't worry dude. I think Bruce has been a GIANT in modern martial arts. A demi god. A true leader. But he was only human and the poor guy died 30 years ago. It is the insane religeous zealot attitude that I'm having a pop at. They are turning the man into a myth, and do his memory far more harm than they could ever realise.
