    I think that the aggressiveness of the wedge is a big factor in whether or not the wedge is successful. If you can't clear the barrier with the lop sao from the wedge, you can always fire another pak sao da from the left outside reference point.

    I understand that one can end up trapping themselves up, but this trap-monkey trap as we call it-is pretty rare if you use a hard enough wedge.

      Sounds like a plan to me ... if I can make the picnic. When is the picnic going to be? I'm moving to Texas in May so if it's after May, there's a good chance I won't make it (though it's not impossible ... I'll still be coming up here to visit friends and family on a semi-regular basis).
