Its been a couple of years but I was there for a couple of years. I'm in san Jose. Where are you located?

Felix is a great master but I've drifted in a more "concept" direction with the Felix's Jun Fan as my base. I will never be comparible Felix. I'm just a true beliver of the grappling arts and I've picked up a few other arts too.

But Macias Gung-Fu has changed my whole perspective of the arts!

Sounds good, each person must find there own path. I think he is a good intructor. I hope to train with him for at least 2 or three more years. My name is Gary and I live in the Hayward area, actually not to far from Felix. So do you know Todd?

I think Todd started up about the time I was becoming more distant. My name is James but Felix knows me by Jim. Only my family calls me Jim as I outgrew that name but when I met Kevin (the guy who took me to Felix's) I knew in my heart that someyhing special was going to happen and I told him my name was Jim, which isn't like me at all!

Anyway, I hope to see Felix in the future.

I talked to Felix and he remembers you well. He also said you probably were there when Kevin and Rudy were there. I have met both of them. Nice talking with you and hope we can do this again.

For sure! I hope that I'm not gone forever. I'm just trying to make it so that I can quit working in the high tech field and retire doing martial arts full time. Maybe we'll train sometime. I could use being slapped around a bit here and there.

You said Rudy in the past tense? He was really good, the last time I was there he "checked" me pretty good!

Yeah Rudy doesn't work out on a regular basis anymore. At least not since I have started. He will stop by every once in a while. He does look like he is pretty good but I think he might be getting rusty not be able to work out as much. Anyway Felix has a pretty good size class now and we are using the gym again that is a croos the street. I would also like to get out of the high tech crap. keeping up with everything is starting to get old.
