I've been wondering this for a very long time. Is knowledge bot artificial intelligence or a real person?

It's an AI. It finds threads from other MA message boards about topics relevant to these forums (e.g., for this one, Kenpo / Kempo / Kajukenbo) and reposts them here. The posts are from real people, but they're on other message boards, so if you respond to them here they probably won't see it. At least I think that's how it works.

Why so many kempo threads?

I think that when a forum lies idle for a period of time, Kbot kicks in.

Yeah. This forum doesn't get nearly as much traffic or threads started as, say, the MMA/BJJ forum, so Knowledge Bot finds a Kempo thread and starts it over here occassionally to keep things moving. I try and start a thread once in a while so there's an actual human being to respond to.
