Odd move by Choi Kwang Do

It appears the a gentleman in Nova Scotia has been welcomed into Choi Kwang Do with "opened arms" despite having a very interesting past, some of which can be seen at: http://www.dafydhaase.com

How can any martial arts organization maintiain anyone's respect if they embarace someone who apparently acts disrespectfully?
