Do you practice in Chicago? Are you 18-22?

Hello everyone. Well the internet isnt the place for a guy like me so let me get straight to the point. I live in chicago and i am looking for someone to become friends with. you see its kind off hard to find friends who have the same passion for martial arts as me when you spend all of your time training in isolation. When i say all my time i mean all of my time. Dont get me wrong, I watch a little tv or play a video game every once in awhile. I mean i live in a large city surrounded by technology and iam only human. However I find that my every waking moment is just about filled with martial arts only. Also some people seem to find it strange that for a guy like me who strives to be stronger then the next man I have never been in a tournament or competed with anyone in anyway and have no desire to. Infact when Im not thinking about or striving to become stronger my attention is usually focused on World Peace. What part of chicago are you in i am in north chicago and have been for about a month?

I live on the northside as well. Im in rogers park. 5 more blocks north and id be in evanston. you say youve only been here for a month eh? hows that?

I live in Glenview, a suburb outside of Chicago, and I take Judo/Japanese Jiu-Jitsu at the Northbrook YMCA. The instructors have 30 years of experience, and our previous Sensei who recently moved to South Carolina was a 9th degree black belt. It's good stuff.

They are moving to Northfield, however, which is 2 feet away from Glenview.

I am living on base at great lakes naval station. I am like right outside of Wauekegan or something like that I know it is right up the road. If I am not mistaken the town I am in is Forestal or something like that. I am currently taking hapkido on base.

wow you guys are pretty close to chicago. but when i was asking if anyone lived in chicago i meant CHICAGO and not the chicago land area.

Oh well I am not that familiar with the area I have no clue how far I am from chicago.
