If you actually had half the brain you were given, you'd understand that my point was addressing MMA as it is recognized presently.
I haven't been on here for a while, so I forgot that you were such a childish weenie.

You don't have to be like that, Stevens - you're obviously scared of something - people are needlessly abusive only when they are frightened.

Judging by the level of your arrogance: I'd say you are terrified.

Everyone is scared, brother. Learn not to attack your fellows when you feel fear - it's your true self.

DEAR GOD! YOU ARE A DUFUS!!!

That post, that you are responding to, was me DEFENDING YOU from PSTEVENS. I was posting it TO PSTEVENS.

So I guess READING isn't one of those things that you are better at than the majority of the world?!

Just so you know, thinking that you yourself are better than the majority of the world, merely because you have developed some skills, is the definition of arrogance. Of course, "reading for context" not being one of those skills, I don't expect you to know that.

Now I'm being arrogant. What gives! I guess by my own defintion I am still scared of something.

But jesus! How could I not point this out? Too much fun.

People now are more interested in this new reality based fighting systems and with the popularity of MMA increasing, TKD as it is mostly taught today, doesn't measure up with people's expectations and beliefs as to what will work in a street fight or against another person.

Personally, I feel the move towards the sport aspect of the art has tarnished any credibility it has in terms of an effective way to defend yourself. Granted there are schools around that teach a harder more traditional form of TKD, but they are few and far between. TKD has become synonomous with 6 yr old black belts and classes that resemble daycare as opposed to a dojo/dojang.

I went into a tkd class and the kids were coloring in a coloring book recently, and the femle instructer was doing "kick-ie-poo's" and a few of the kids were following along while the other's colored. I walked out shaking my head.

            Respectfully,

            -sb
